Stores and developments are taking interest in a stretch of Omaha that could use a little help.
The momentum is there and now the shops are calling that stretch, bounded by Leavenworth and Dodge from 20th to 28th Street, "The Quarters."
They're sprucing up the neighborhood, adding a Cat Cafe, a coffee shop and a dog grooming business.
There is also new apartments and housing coming up in the area, the developers hope to continue to give the neighborhood new life.
