Officers were called to a school just south of the Old Market at around 2:00 p.m Tuesday
According to police there was some sort of disturbance with a student that had a knife.
At the Alpha school on south 6th Street near Hickory.
School officials held the student until officers arrived.
No word on what led up to the incident.
