OMAHA, Neb. (KMTV) — If you've been wanting to adopt a new pet, the Nebraska Humane Society (NHS) is currently slashing prices on cat and dog adoptions!

Due to an abundance of animals, and a need to make space, all dogs two years and up are $75 to adopt until Black Friday.

In addition to the special on dogs, the NHS says "all cats 6 months and up are free adoptions and kitties under 6 months are $75 and two for one (because kitties do great in pairs)."

NHS wants people to consider the following in addition to the sales prices:

  • These door busters are lower than cost! (Seriously they are spayed/neutered, microchipped, have first shots AND you get the DOG too—for $75. Or cats free! That’s CRAZY low!)
  • Many models to choose from! (Fluffy, sleek, large, small, energetic, snoring, you name it we’ve got it!)
  • Some Models available for Test Drives! (Certain dogs come with a test drive—so you can take them home overnight before finalizing your adoption—yep we do that!)
  • Avoid the holiday rush! (He acclimates to your home now, not during the busy time!)
