OMAHA, Neb. (KMTV) — Starting at 7 a.m. Monday morning, parts of two downtown streets will be shut down for the next two years due to the Riverfront Revitalization project at the Gene Leahy Mall.

8th Street between Douglas and Farnam, along with Douglas and Farnam Street between 8th Street and 10th Street will be closed. The renovation of the Gene Leahy Mall is expected to be finished in 2021.
