With a new school year and a new superintendent, Omaha Public Schools is trying something new.
On Thursday night, Dr. Cheryl Logan held the district's first town hall for students. Kids had a chance to ask questions and hear from Dr. Logan on a range of concerns.
The students who attended had a positive reaction to the event.
"This was my first time being here and talking to someone this high up in OPS, so it was really a great opportunity," Burke senior Camille Adair said. "She was kind of an unknown coming from a different state, so its great to know what she really thinks and what her goals are for the school district."
