OMAHA, Neb. (KTMV) — A drive-thru COVID-19 testing site is now open in South Omaha.

The testing site is located at the former grocery store parking lot at 50th and G streets. The South Omaha drive-thru clinic will operate seven days a week. Testing is planned for 1 p.m. until 5 p.m. Monday through Friday and 8 a.m. until noon on Saturday and Sunday.

If you are experiencing symptoms or have been in contact with an individual who is experiencing symptoms or has tested positive for COVID-19, you are encouraged to get tested. There is no charge for the testing.

Advanced registration is preferred for anyone attending the South Omaha drive-thru clinic, but it is not required. Assistance will be provided on-site to make sure no one is turned away.

To register online, please go to https://is.gd/sohatest. This will speed up the process and allow for more people to be tested.

The clinic was created through a partnership with the Douglas County Health Department, OneWorld Health Center, Nebraska Medicine and the University of Nebraska Medical Center (UNMC).
