A crash at 90th and L streets left one person injured and forced the intersection to close for more than an hour Tuesday morning.
Omaha Police said a southbound semi-truck making a turn was hit by the driver of Mazda SUV, who ran a red light. The SUV driver was taken to Bergan Mercy with possible serious injuries. The semi driver was not injured.
Early indications were that alcohol may have been a factor, however, the driver of the Mazda tested negative, according to Omaha Police.
90th & L was closed for approximately 1.5 hours as a result of the crash, OPD said.
