A driver was killed after hitting into a tree near 1-480 and Martha Saturday afternoon.
OPD identified the driver as 21-year-old Zachary Nelson.
Witnesses say Nelson's Ford Explorer was going southbound on I-480 when it drifted off the road, crossed over the Martha Street ramp, and hit a tree.
Nelson was taken to the hospital with CPR in progress and was declared dead shortly after.
