OMAHA, Neb. (KMTV) — Just before 11:00 a.m., Omaha police were dispatched to a personal injury accident involving a driver that went over a bridge barrier near I-680 and 60th Street.
Investigators say a 2018 Ford Explorer was being driven westbound on I-680 by 68-year-old Patricia Anderson when her vehicle left the roadway onto a grass median and eventually "vaulted off the concrete support barrier."
Anderson's vehicle landed on the 60th Street shoulder below and continued into a guardrail below the I-680 bridge.
Anderson was transported to Nebraska Medicine by Omaha Fire with serious injuries.
