OMAHA, Neb. (KMTV) - A longtime staple in the Omaha food scene is closing its doors for good.
Dundee Dell announced that they will be closing later this month. The business had been around for almost 86 years.
"In the last few months, a lot has changed in our world, country, state, city, and our own lives," Dundee Dell wrote on Facebook. "Certain things that we knew as normal and could count on like clockwork are now vastly different from the way they had been previously."
Dundee Dell wrote on Facebook that they appreciate all the support they received over the decades.
"We hope that you too will carry many fond memories of your experiences with us, and we certainly hope you will stop by over the next few weeks to say goodbye and indulge in your favorite drink, sandwich, or a bag of fish & chips," the Facebook post read.
Dundee Dell says they will be announcing some "goodbye" specials on food and drinks over the next few weeks.
