OMAHA, Neb.(KMTV) — An early morning house fire has displaced a family, and the house is now unlivable.

Around 5:30 a.m., officers were called to the area of 32nd and Polk Street. The fire started in the garage and spread to the house. The family had moved outside and avoided all injuries.

Authorities say the fire got to the wires of the house, cutting the power, causing the residence to be unlivable. The cause of the fire is under investigation.
