OMAHA, Neb. (KMTV) — Elkhorn Public Schools ranks as the top school district in Nebraska, according to a study by Backgroundchecks.org.
Riverside Public Schools in Spalding, Millard Public Schools, Lincoln Public Schools, and North Bend Central Public Schools round out the top five.
The method used to determine the best district was number of students in the district, graduation rate, teacher quality, school funding, student to teacher ratio, and standardized test results. Data from a total of 10,728 school districts had sufficient values for the variables.
