Endangered Missing Advisory canceled

The Nebraska State Patrol says Townsend has been located and the advisory is no longer in effect.

The Douglas County Sheriff's Office is searching for a 48-year-old man who suffers from a brain injury who was last seen early Wednesday morning. Below is the advisory that was issued:

An Endangered Missing Advisory has been issued for Eastern Nebraska. The Douglas County Sheriff's Office is attempting to locate, Chad TOWNSEND who is a 48 years old, white male, approximately 5’ 8" tall, approximately 195 pounds, with brown hair and blue eyes, and wearing a Red Nebraska T-Shirt, Grey Sweatpants, no shoes or jacket. TOWNSEND is missing from the vicinity of 149th and Ellison Avenue in Omaha, Nebraska, and last seen at 6:30 am on October 28, 2020. He is possibly driving a green 2013 Toyota Highlander bearing Nebraska plate VTA075. TOWNSEND suffers from a brain injury and other medical conditions.
