Eric Scott, the inmate who escaped custody while being transported from the State Penitentiary, appeared in court Friday afternoon.
Scott faces several sexual assault charges in Dodge County and will have to face those charges on top of the escape charges.
Scott waived extradition back to Nebraska and is now facing charges in Iowa for theft and being a felon in possession of a firearm.
Scott's next court appearance will be in Iowa on Oct. 13.
