Out of tragedy comes a new foundation aimed at giving back to the community.

Clint and Lisa Seemann who lost their son, Aspen, in a tragic drowning accident in June have started "the Aspen Drake Seemann Foundation".

The first annual event of the foundation is a stuffed animal and doll drive called, "Stuff the Turkey for Aspen's Angels."

The event starts on Tuesday and ends on November 30th.

The stuffed animals and dolls will be distributed to first responders in the Omaha area as well as Children’s Hospital and Medical Center. These stuffed animals are meant to bring a smile to children who have been involved in a tragedy or who are going through their own personal illness.

Here’s where you can drop the toys:

  • David M. Mangelsen’s -3547 South 84th Street Omaha.
  • St. Patrick Catholic Church- 20500 West Maple Road, Elkhorn.
