OMAHA, Neb. (KMTV) — Last night just after 10 p.m., officers were called to 147th and West Maple to investigate a fatal crash involving a pedestrian and a car.
They say a 2013 Hyundai Sonata was westbound in the right lane when it collided with a person crossing at a spot without a crosswalk.
The pedestrian was transported to a nearby hospital with CPR in progress but ultimately succumbed to their injuries.
Police say alcohol and speed do not appear to be factors and that victim has not been identified pending notification of next of kin.
