Fire in Bellevue leaves several apartments uninhabitable

Fire crews are still on scene investigating what lead to a blaze that affected 12 apartment units at Brent Village in Bellevue.

According to Bellevue fire, 20 to 25 people are displaced by the fire after several units were deemed uninhabitable. The fire began around 4 a.m. on the second floor, traveling to the walls, through the ceiling before ending in the attic. 

One person was hospitalized and another was treated at the scene.  

The American Red Cross is assisting those who are displaced.
