OMAHA, Neb. (KMTV) — The pandemic has changed lots of things, but that didn’t stop people from paying respects to veterans this weekend.
American Legion members placed flags on veteran's graves Saturday morning.
The event took place at three local cemeteries, including Pleasant Hill, Voss Moor and Mount Auburn.
Members say despite everything that's going on, it's still important to remember our veterans.
The Boy Scouts would usually place the flags, but to limit crowd size, it was just the legion and family members on Saturday.
