In a tweet NWS-Omaha says they got word flooding was occurring near Big Island and Inglewood on the Platte River due to an ice jam breaking free. They also say if you live by the Platte River downstream from Fremont, some minor flooding could occur.

The Red Cross has opened up a shelter to help anyone who may have been impacted by the flood. The center is at the First Lutheran Church at 3200 Military Avenue in Fremont.
