From Papillion to Lincoln, the water is flowing higher in many creeks.
Some area residents have been watching the water rise rapidly in the area for the last few days.
"When we went by the water was down considerably from where it is now and now it's right up against the bridge," one Wahoo resident said.
The City of Papillion tweeted out a drone photo of the Papio Creek showing the flooding there as well.
Aerial shots of Papio Creek this morning. The creek was relatively high after last night's rains and was high enough at one point to come over the bike trail underpass. Another example of flood control measures at work! @PapioNRD pic.twitter.com/GBiaQlS23L

In other areas around the Omaha Metro, there was only minor flooding. However, in Lancaster County, officials say it is their worst flooding since 2015.
