Former Council Bluffs assistant city attorney Don Bauermeister has pleaded guilty to federal drug charges.
Bauermeister, 44, admitted to conspiring to possess and sell 13 pounds of a marijuana. He was indicted by a grand jury.
Prosecutors are reccommending probation when a judge sentences him in January.
