Former Husker injured in Northwest Omaha shooting

OMAHA, Neb. (KMTV) - Former Nebraska football player Randy Stella, 38, was injured in a shooting late Wednesday night outside of a bar near 108th and Maple. 

According to police, the suspect is described as black male with dreadlocks and a red shirt. He fled in a Dodge pickup. 

Stella sustained non-life threatening injuries. He registered stats with Nebraska in the 1999 and 2000 seasons.
