Wednesday night, criminal charges were filed against a former Nebraska State Trooper for his role in a deadly high-speed crash in the Western part of the state.
Our partners at the Omaha World-Herald are reporting that a special prosecutor has filed misdemeanor motor vehicle homicide and making false statements charges against Tim Flick.
The incident, and the NSP's subsequent handling of it, caused Gov. Ricketts to fire NSP Superintendent Brad Rice.
Flick maintains his innocence and his trying to get his job back.
