Clayton Yeutter, a Nebraskan who served as U.S. secretary of agriculture under President George H.W. Bush, died.
The 86-year-old fought cancer for several years.

Yeutter was named agriculture secretary in 1989 after he served as U.S. trade representative from 1985 to 1988.
