After receiving major political endorsements within recent days, incumbent Mayor Jean Stothert and challenger Heath Mello will face-off again at a forum.
Starting at 6:30 p.m. Tuesday, Omaha by Design will host a “Mayoral Candidate Forum” at the Omaha Community Playhouse.
Urban policy and design will be major discussion points, organizers wrote in an announcement.
The city's infrastructure, development and economic growth are part of a long list of hot topics in the 2017 mayoral race, which the non-profit organization plans to highlight, according to organizers.
