OMAHA, Neb. (KMTV) — Firefighters battled flames and frigid temperatures as they worked to pull several people out of an apartment fire.
They were called to the Carlisle Apartments near 83rd and Blondo just before 10 p.m. Sunday.
Firefighters brought the fire under control in 20 minutes but it re-ignited and took about another hour and a half to get under control.
Paramedics took four people to the hospital, one in potentially critical condition and three with serious injuries.
The Red Cross responded to the scene to help the more than two dozen people forced out overnight by the fire.
