Four people arrested in connection to body found in Bellevue

OMAHA, Neb. (KMTV) — On Sunday, the Bellevue Police Department (BPD) responded to a call for a body found at Faulkland Park. The body, identified as 19-year-old Matthew Brendan, had one gunshot wound to the head. Today, BPD says they've arrested four people in connection to the case.

After identifying the victim, BPD says investigators believed Brenden was at a residence near 46th and Virginia in Bellevue during the early hours of October 20 and that he sustained the gunshot wound there as well.

They say the circumstances of Brenden's death are still under investigation but that they believe his body was removed from the residence and moved to Faulkland Park.

The following four people have been booked in relation to the charge and lodged at Sarpy County Jail.

21-year-old Eric J. Palmquist has been charged with: human skeletal remains or burial goods; prohibited acts, Tampering with physical evidence, Possession of a controlled substance with intent to distribute, Possession of a firearm in violation of Possession of a controlled substance with intent to distribute.

18-year-old Nolan Carpenter has been charged with: Human skeletal remains or burial goods; prohibited acts, Tampering with physical evidence.

18-year-old Emily Groff has been charged with tampering with physical evidence.

18-year-old Alyssa Edmisten has been charged with tampering with physical evidence.
