OMAHA, Neb. (KMTV) — The fourth beer in Omaha's Henry Doorly Zoo and Aquarium and Zipline Brewing Co's Zoo Brew Series will hit stores and Zipline tasting rooms. Snow Leopard Wit is the final beer to be sold as part of the introductory series.
Through the use of traditional ingredients such as a bitter orange peel, chamomile and corinader, Snow Leopard Wit combines floral and spice aromas wth bright citrus to create a delicately balance wheat ale.
Proceeds generated from the beer will directly support the Zoo's conservation efforts to help Mongolia's population of snow leopards, and endangered species to be part of Asian Highlands opening at the Zoo in May.
Specifically, proceeds from the brew will help support the development of snow leopard protected areas to reduce poaching, mining, and unsustainable land development.
Zipline Brewing Co. will host launch parties for Snow Leopard Wit at all three of its retail locations, including the North Downtown Omaha Taproom at 721 N. 14th St. The events occur Friday, April 26 from 5 p.m. to close.
