OMAHA, Neb. (KMTV) — The City of Fremont says that water in the area tested positive for E. coli contamination.
They tell us that the city's water is safe to drink but that flood waters that covered the southern part of the city tested positive for the deadly bacteria.
Anyone going into floodwaters should clean and sanitize footwear and clothing that has been exposed to it.
