Clerk grazed by bullet during robbery

Police are investigating two robberies they believe are connected, including one where a clerk was injured by gunfire.

Police say the first robbery happened around 8:20 p.m. at the Mega Saver on 24th Street, near Q Street.

The suspect opened fire inside the store, grazing one of the clerks, according to police.  The suspect didn’t get any money.

Around 10 p.m., police responded to another robbery at the Kwik Shop on 72nd Street, near Sorensen Parkway where the suspect got away with money.

Police say they believe the two robberies are connected.
