NELIGH, Neb. (KMTV) — A giant message to President Trump was etched into a 33-acre cornfield and unveiled Wednesday morning.
The message, by Bold Nebraska, features the opening to the Constitution: "We the People" and images of a bison and water, along with the twin hashtags #No45 and #NoKXL. KXL referring to the proposed Keystone XL Pipeline.
"President Trump stands on stage saying he loves farmers while approving a foreign export pipeline using eminent domain on Americans," said Jane Kleeb, founder of Bold Nebraska. "We the people have stopped this risky pipeline for 10 years."
Nebraska approved the Keystone pipeline to cross through the state back in 2017.
