PAPILLION, Neb. (KMTV) — A little girl killed while crossing a Papillion street will live on through others.
Abby Whitford's family tells our partners at the Omaha World-Herald the 10-year-old is turning her tragedy into a new chance at life for others.
They say five of her organs went to four other children after her death.
The deadly accident also caused Papillion officials to upgrade safety measures on 84th, the street where she was hit.
