COUNCIL BLUFFS, Iowa (KMTV) — On Monday, Police said a 15-year-old Council Bluffs girl reported an abduction attempt in the area of Valley View and Mall Drive. Today, they talked to her again and say she "admitted to fabricating the incident."
In the initial report, Police say she told them that she was running when an unknown white male approached her and tried to grab her by the arm...that's when she claimed to have fought off the man and ran away.
Now that she's changed her story, police say she will not be charged for filing a false police report.
