The annual Go Red for Women Expo took place Tuesday night at the Embassy Suites in La Vista.
About 600 women attended the American Heart Association's event which included an expo with great exhibits and auction items.
But there were also a lot of tears as survivors shared their stories. Last week we introduced you to 12-year-old Sarah Weiss. She had a stroke at the age of 11 and spoke at the event. "It can happen anywhere at any time at any place, like I had my stroke at swim team practice. I thought I was a normal healthy girl but something went wrong that day."
