COUNCIL BLUFFS, Iowa (KMTV) — Google is hosting a free workshop next Tuesday, April 16 titled "Grow with Google." The event takes place in Council Bluffs and the initiative of the workshop aims to help job seekers and small businesses learn the digital skills they need to succeed through on site instructional training by visiting Google teams, presenters, and coaches.
Council Bluffs Mayor Matt Walsh will be at the event and will kick it off at 9:30 by speaking on the importance of computer training and computer skills.
Grow with Google is on a national tour in partnershup with America's libraries. The tour will host digital skills workshops in libraries in all 50 states and will aim to support libraries' digital skills offerings on an ongoing basis.
The event takes place at the Council Bluffs Public Library.
