Governor Pete Ricketts issued a statement Friday following a decision by the Nebraska Accountability and Disclosure Commission to fine Senator Bill Kintner of Papillion for misusing state property.
He is asking Senator Kintner to resign immediately.
“In light of the Nebraska Accountability and Disclosure Commission’s decision, Senator Kintner should resign his office immediately. Period.”
The NE Accountability and Disclosure Commission fined Sen. Bill Kintner $1,000 for a violation of public resources by a public official because of explicit video chat that happened on his computer in 2015.
