An Arlington woman faces felony charges of abusing a vulnerable adult.
Police arrested 23 year old Anne Pavlik after the investigation of the death of a patient at the Edgewood Vista Memory Care facility in Fremont. Investigators say a patient in Pavlik's care fell asleep too close to a fireplace at the facility on February 13. The patient sustained serious injuries and was taken to Fremont Health where they later died. An autopsy found the cause of death was a combination of natural causes and recent burns suffered at the care facility.
Pavlik faces a charge of vulnerable adult abuse, which is a Class 3A felony.
