Omaha's Henry Doorly Zoo has plans for a new plaza featuring additional concessions, new restrooms, an open air market and a play area near Sue's Wildlife Carousel.
According to a release, the Zoo is planning on opening the Carousel Plaza, which will be able to accommodate up to 500 guests, in the spring of 2019.
The area will be constructed at the site of the now closed Red Barn Park.
