OMAHA, Neb. (KMTV) — Omaha's Henry Doorly Zoo and Aquarium was presented with the Employer Partnership Award from the Autism Center of Nebraska at its annual gala.

The Zoo was recognized for its number of successful job placements through Connections, the Autism Center's employment program. The program helps place ACN job seekers into career paths.

"Omaha's Henry Doorly Zoo has for years been a great partner of the Autism Center of Nebraska," said Brett Samson, CEO of the Autism Center of Nebraska. "The Zoo has worked closely with ACN to help the people we support gain appropriate job and social skills, as well as become successful employees."
