OMAHA, Neb. (KMTV) — This week there have been reports of water rescues along the Elkhorn River. Due to hazards in the water, the Papio Missouri River Natural Resources District told us that while the river is open, they don't recommend using it for recreational purposes.
Tonight on 3 News Now Live at 6, Weekend Anchor John Madden talks to the Papio Missouri River Natural Resources District about the risks of using the Elkhorn River and takes a look at some of the businesses still using it.

Also, Trail’s landlord who lived upstairs said he smelled an odor of bleach coming from downstairs the day after Loofe went missing. The defense will question him next.@3NewsNowOmaha
