Lincoln Police are looking for a hit & run driver who struck and dragged a 7 year old boy.
Police say Edwin Nyhof was riding his scooter in the crosswalk at 78th Street and Leighton Avenue Wednesday afternoon when he was hit by an SUV which turned onto Leighton Avenue. Nyhof was dragged a short distance before he fell off the vehicle. Witnesses say the SUV was either tan or gold, and may have been a Cadillac Escalade or Chevy Tahoe.
Nyhof was taken to the hospital for injuries that are not life threatening. He suffered significant road rash and an injury to his elbow.
