Omaha's Holiday Lights Festival will have a new location next year.
Because the Gene Leahy Mall will be getting a facelift as part of the riverfront redevelopment, the festival will no longer be located there. However, Mayor Jean Stothert said it would remain downtown and the exact location is yet to be determined.
The Holiday Lights could also be in a different location in years beyond 2019.
