Meteorologist Jim Flowers has been forecasting the weather for nearly 40 years. This Friday will be his last day at KMTV, and we are looking back at his impressive television career.
He admits he's seen a lot of changes when it comes to the business and technology. He remembers forecasting using maps, a board and magnets.
Jim says he has always looked at himself as a meteorologist first. "Broadcasting was a way for me to disseminate my forecast."
Just this month Jim was inducted into the Omaha Press Club Hall of Fame.
