Authorities said a barricade situation ended peacefully in the early morning hours Wednesday in northwest Omaha.

The Douglas County Sheriff's Office responded to a mobile home in the Park Meadow area near 114th and Ida streets at around 11:45 p.m. Tuesday after a third-party caller said they heard a female screaming nearby, according to Lt. Rob Jones.

Upon arriving, deputies say they also heard the screams and someone shut the door in their face after opening it up at first.

A man, woman and female juvenile occupied the house, Jones said.

Authorities learned the household had access to firearms and sent a tactical response team and negotiators to the scene.

After nearly three hours, the standoff ended when officials deployed an irritant, which only affected the younger female, Jones said.

However, Jones said there are no reported injuries.

Deputies later took all three into custody.

The assault remains under investigation.
