OMAHA, Neb. (KMTV) - A family is without a home after fire and smoke damage left it uninhabitable, according to Omaha fire.
A call came from the household near 28th and Titus avenues around 1:45 a.m. Monday.
Crews worked quickly to knock out a fire upstairs, where they also located a male victim and rushed him to Nebraska Medical Center with critical injuries, the fire department told 3 News Now.
As investigators look into the cause, the American Red Cross is assisting a family of six.
