WAHOO, Neb. (KMTV) - An investigation is ongoing after human remains were found in Wahoo on Tuesday.
The Saunders County Sheriff's Office responded to the area of County Road 17, just south of County Road M, and found the remains in a tree line shortly after 3 p.m.
Authorities say a preliminary investigation indicates the remains are most likely those of a man previously reported missing in Saunders County.
An autopsy is scheduled for Wednesday.
