The Nebraska Humane Society will continue offering waived adoption fees on cats one year or older through July 3.
In a release, a Humane Society spokesperson said there are still many cats up for adoption and they want to free up more space at the shelter.
All cats are microchipped, have rabies shots and are spayed or neutered.
