OMAHA, Neb. (KMTV) - Sounds of heritage, freedom and independence rang out of a carillon as hundreds sat near a bell tower early Tuesday morning.
On Independence Day, the University of Nebraska Omaha estimates roughly 450 attended its annual “Let Freedom Ring” concert.
UNO carillon studies alumni Brent Shaw performed with the instrument inside the bell tower, known as the Henningson Memorial Campanile.
