A group of concerned Omaha residents gathered at one of the city's busiest intersections Monday, urging people to donate to relief efforts.
Organizers were collecting bottled water at 72nd and Dodge streets, and said they plan to continue doing so on Tuesday. The Red Cross will pick it up and send it to Houston.
They are hoping to provide about 500 cases of water.
