A local grocery store honored area first responders for the work they do every day.
On Sunday morning, the Shadow Lake Hy-Vee served up a free breakfast to all police and emergency medical workers.
There was also a moment of silence in observation for those lost nearly 17 years ago in the 9-11 attacks.
